Temporary orders rendered in suits for modification are not subject to interlocutory appeal.
A nonsuit in a SAPCR proceeding does not necessarily prevent a court from rendering temporary orders to protect the best interests of a minor child. Such ``temporary'' orders continue in full force and effect until set aside by the issuing court or modified by a court of continuing, exclusive jurisdiction.
