I have remarried. How will that affect my child support?
Unless your new spouse adopts your child, remarriage will have no effect on your ability to collect child support from the non-custodial parent. The reason for this is that Texas courts only consider the custodial parent’s income, and not the new spouse’s income, when it comes to establishing or modifying a court order for child support.
